About Me
Beginning as a psychology major in my undergraduate, I quickly discovered I had questions about God and mental flourishing that needed further study to satisfy. So I went to Bible college as a theology major and found many answers. But not all of them.
It took pursuing graduate and postgraduate degrees in Scotland to answer these questions. In Scotland, I studied theology, philosophy, and psychological science. I had questions about the goodness of God and the problem of evil and suffering. I had questions about how my doubt fit in with my faith. In the process, I discovered how deeply personal these questions were for me.
As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse living with a chronic form of PTSD, I know how difficult it is to engage stories of trauma. But I have also found that it pays rich rewards to ask honest questions with courage, curiosity, and kindness.
I love theology. I love psychology. I love God and people. I believe our deepest heartaches and longings are places where we can meet God in the most powerful ways. I believe this is important work to engage academically, professionally, and personally.
I would be privileged to get to know you more and explore working with you. Reach out to me anytime to connect further.
